Big Christmas Drive for Birmingham Hospice
Venue: Main Lake
This year, we’re supporting Birmingham Hospice with a Christmas collection to help bring comfort, care and joy to patients, families, staff and young people across our community. Here’s how you can get involved:
Selection Boxes for Staff – Target: 500
Help us thank every Birmingham Hospice team member, volunteer and shop worker. By collecting 500 chocolate treats, we can make sure each of the incredible people who care for 670 patients every day receives a small gift of appreciation this Christmas.
Toy Drive for CHATS – Target: 50 Gifts (Ages 3–17)
The Children’s Healing and Therapeutic Support (CHATS) team provides confidential emotional support to children facing serious illness or bereavement. They may be supporting up to 50 bereaved children this Christmas - and we’re collecting age-appropriate gifts to help bring some comfort during a difficult time.
Toiletries for Hospice Care – Target: 100 Items
Across the Erdington and Selly Park hospice sites, patients and their loved ones often stay for long periods and may not have essentials with them. We are collecting:
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Shower gel and basic toiletries
(Please avoid aerosols, hotel minis or opened products.)
Your kindness will help families stay close, feel supported and experience a little warmth this Christmas. Drop off donations to the Park Management Hub.
