Join members from the Choir with No Name and choir director, one fifth of the awesome vocal group Sons of Pitches, for a free hour of singing. Expect a fun informal warmup, a spot of beatboxing from Joe and to end up mastering an uplifting and well known pop song, sure to bring a smile to your lunch break!

Since 2008 the Choir with No Name has been building joyful singing communities with homeless and marginalised people around the UK. Currently, there are six choirs: in Birmingham, Coventry, Liverpool, London, Brighton and Cardiff. We were founded on the premise that singing makes us all feel good: It distracts you from all the nonsense in life and helps you to build confidence, skills and genuine, long-lasting friendships.

Each choir meets weekly for a cuppa and a catch up, then we sing our hearts out for an hour and half and sit down together afterwards for a hot meal cooked by volunteers. We perform regularly at a wide variety of different places, including local homeless hostels, community festivals and world class venues such as Royal Festival Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall. Our choirs are a supportive, safe space for people going through a tough time where they can experience the joy of singing together among friends, have fun, build confidence and skills, and feel in a better position to tackle life's other challenges, such as securing housing or finding work.

We also deliver community outreach projects for people at risk of homelessness in each of the cities where we work and we run corporate workshops to bring the all the fun of a Choir with No Name singalong into workspaces all across the country.
