BBP Host Blue Monday Event
Join us on Monday 16th January for Blue Monday. Every year, the third Monday of January is called ‘Blue Monday’. Due to an accumulation of factors, it is supposed to be the saddest day of the year.
So, on Monday 16th January (next Monday), we’ve put together a couple of events for your teams to take part in to brighten up their day.
From 9 am we are hosting Solihull Chamber of Commerce’s Blue Monday Event (free to all BBP businesses) with breakfast and guest speakers! To book your space, please email lori@birminghambusinesspark.co.uk.
Followed by a Netwalking session around the Park led by host Julia Mitchell followed by a free coffee at the end.
To top that, Poet Beth Calverley will be joining us next to the Main Lake for those who would like to book a session to receive a bespoke poem.
To make things even brighter, we’re giving away FREE waffles from Betty’s Waffles. First come, first served at the Main Lake. Alongside all our Foodie Thursday regulars who will be joining us on this special Monday.
AGENDA
Stacey Glen, Pain Management Practitioner/Company Director, The Glen Health Group Ltd
After (now) over 16 years of living with and managing various chronic pain conditions including fibromyalgia, arthritis and chronic fatigue syndrome – among other illnesses and neurodiversity – and finally finding something which helped me rebuild my life to what it is today I retrained as Pain Management Practitioner alongside becoming a BEMER Therapist to help and support others who find themselves in a similar situation and are beginning to feel there is no help available out there.
Jeffrey Lewis, Owner, Zephyr Training Services
We are a small family run business with experienced trainers only delivering a range of informative, but fun. First Aid is a potential life saving skill to have and for many business owners, a requirement under HSE law. It may seem strange but knowing how to save a life is actually quite straight forward and can make a huge difference to the persons chance of survival if someone has administered first aid to them before an Ambulance arrives.A quite scary statistic is that for people who have a Cardiac Arrest, 95% will die before reaching hospital, not good odds but by understanding what is happening and delivering the right treatment early enough can change this outlook quite dramatically.
Annette Palmer, NLP Business Master Practitioner, Trainer & Coach, Leadership Mindset & Change Management Specialist
Annette is passionate about helping people develop skills to become solution focused and flourish no matter where they find themselves on their life or work journey. Annette helps business professionals use NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) tools to enhance their leadership skills and tap into their inner resources, strength, and resilience. For 20 years, Annette has consulted with corporate and independent businesses in her role as an effective Change Manager. In 2009 she was introduced to NLP and qualified as a Master NLP Business Practitioner, NLP Coach & Trainer. These skills have been a major catalyst in enabling her to provide more impactful business and emotional intelligence support.
