HYPNOTHERAPY
After spending several years in the criminal justice field as practitioner and Manager, I decided to retrain as a Hypnotherapist. My decision was a result of experiencing a prolonged period of work-related stress.

As a qualified and registered Hypnotherapist, I have many years of experience supporting clients with anxiety; depression; trauma; infertility; substance misuse; OCD to name a few. Even if you have not been diagnosed with a condition but 'don't feel right' hypnotherapy can help.

I help my clients to gain confidence and greater emotional control. Unlike traditional forms of therapy, we do not need to explore traumatic events to help you move forward. Based on the latest neuroscience research and using the best of NLP techniques, clients have reported feeling braver; calmer; patient and more accomplished. Resulting in improved sleep; better relationships; increased productivity; reduced physical ailments and resilience to deal with events when they do not go to plan.

I am pleased to offer BBP staff a FREE initial consultation (worth £35). Subsequent sessions are charged at £70 per hour and are currently held online via zoom. By request, appointments can be arranged early in the morning or evenings. Please contact Asha on 07902 580703 or head to

NET CARBON ZERO WORKSHOP
16TH MARCH
Venue: Teams Webinar
Time: 12noon - 12.45pm

Climate change poses an unprecedented threat within the UK and internationally, and action is required across all aspects of society to reduce this threat. In October 2019, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council recognised the climate emergency and set an ambition of achieving net zero emissions for the Borough by 2041, in-line with the West Midlands Combined Authority ambition.

The UK Climate Projections predict that climate change will cause warmer and wetter winters and hotter and drier summers across the UK, as well as more extreme weather events. Communities across Solihull are already starting to see the effects of extreme weather, with flooding being a particular issue. Governments, citizens and businesses will need to work together to change how we live in Solihull to prevent these effects from worsening.

As part of Solihull’s commitment to achieve net zero, the Council have committed to developing a Net Zero Action Plan, which will help inform the kind of action that will be needed across the Borough.

This session will walk through progress to date, providing an overview of the “Green Paper” – a document that is the first step towards understanding the key areas that need to change. Council representatives will be available to answer questions and give information on how businesses at BBP can get involved.

WITHOUT WASTE
31ST MARCH
Venue: Online
Time: 12.15pm - 1.00pm

If you ask any modern day organisation if they’d like to operate in a way that minimises their impacts on both the local and global environment then they’d likely say ‘YES’ without as much as a second thought. Where most businesses start to find difficulty is moving from this initial commitment to knowing how to begin their journey to becoming a greener and more responsible company.

It can sometimes seem an overwhelming prospect and most organisations mistakenly believe that it’ll always require significant investment to improve. Operating in a way that manages your impacts is not only good for customers, but great for employees and a must in today’s ever demanding commercial world.

The BASIS project provides FREE to use support to assist you on your journey in making a difference, and is operating in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Find out how this fully funded project can help you identify simple ways to minimise your business impacts and reduce cost in the process. You’ll get to hear about our full range of services, along with some practical hints and tips on some simple things that you can do today.

We’ll help you understand how you can reduce waste, be more energy efficient and identify available grants and tax breaks that can offset any financial outlay in making a change for good. Protecting the planet doesn’t have to cost the earth, so to find out how you can be part of our expanding regional network of likeminded businesses, and join us on our latest Birmingham web event.
