18 April 2011

Goodman, the international property group which owns, develops and manages business parks across the UK, has secured a new letting at Birmingham Business Park to Templine Recruitment for its national headquarters.

Templine is a specialist supplier of blue-collar labour covering warehouse staff, forklift truck operatives, and machine supervisors to the retail and logistics, manufacturing and public sectors. The firm has taken 3,500 sq ft on a ten year lease at 6250 Bishops Court following the company’s rapid expansion over the last two years.

Goodman’s Property Services division is undertaking the interior fit-out to ensure the workspace is fully operational when Templine move in during April 2011.

Birmingham Business Park is one of the most established out of town office parks in the Midlands, attracting close to 100 occupiers, who have chosen the Park as their ideal business location. Goodman has spent a considerable amount of time creating the right work environment, which is reflected in the Park’s impressive range of occupiers including Orange, Beiersdorf, BT Expedite and Fujitsu.

James Raven, Development Director for Goodman’s UK Business Parks, said; "As specialists in the management and provision of business park accommodation, we are committed to offering our occupiers the highest quality workspace and facilities. This has been demonstrated at Birmingham Business Park, where our investment has yielded excellent returns. Templine’s decision to join our growing list of occupiers reinforces the Park’s reputation as offering exceptional value, high quality accommodation and unrivalled amenities.”

Neil Himsworth, Finance Director at Templine Recruitment, said: “We’ve outgrown our existing HQ building in Erdington and need better premises and facilities to reflect the right image of the business to our blue chip clients. We now have our very own meeting room suite and additional space to grow. Many of our clients are based not just in the midlands, but throughout the country, and Birmingham Business Park offers excellent connections to the national road and rail networks, meaning we’re easy to find.”

Birmingham Business Park provides a positive, enjoyable and productive environment for staff. The Waterside Centre, at the heart of the Park, is home to O’Brien’s sandwich and coffee shop, a newsagent, and The Little Owl Pub, situated adjacent to the Park, is perfect for relaxed or business lunches. Occupiers also have access to discounted membership at the nearby Hilton LivingWell gym within the NEC exhibition complex. Office space is available from 1,700 sq ft to 9,000 sq ft.

Birmingham Business Park is one of 26 parks that Goodman own, develop and manage nationally.
